Hi folks

Yesterday i went too the hospital to dermoltlgy .A good appoment because the nurse had wrote a letter so no rushing i had a though check .I also because had the nurse i know a little more and what i need to do .First thing was a photo of the skin when it was really bad which now in my notes .

so last time i turned up and just before my skin got better so bad appoment Also because of that they have tried to cancell .But i have the nurse shes is brillant so ill call her if something has got out of concrol
as she concrols the hospital ha ha .Ensead of it getting better the day i go .

Well it may look like i have P.A ???I will be having an app with the R.A CLINC AND derm clinc at same time
may have too have increase of MTX THATS IN fEB might be all linked with the numb leg ??

i did not know this only in very early stages 2007 when i had just been to docs i knew then the R.a factor was nevtive but i thought they had done it again at the hospital ????Yesterday told never had a posative test for R.A .But on notes dx says R.A WITH OVER LAP SCLERODERMA .i was like some one with r.a at the time .

Hay would it be nice if i have not got it ha ha .But i have got auto imummue something .
Now i am unlike some with R.A so who knows ???

What is an R.a Nodgle like on your finger ??.( waiting to have it choped )

I wish they would speed up and send me the letter too say have i got M/S OR had a stroke or need a vit B 12 jab they are very behind .But yesterday Dr would had told me if it had been in my notes but its with the secerarys but not urgent .

Hi Chrissie,

It's so good to hear that you had a positive appointment and that you have back-up from your nurse friend to keep the hospital on their toes!
I suppose if you have PA instead of RA, it's all related anyway and the treatment is the same so there won't be any change there (and don't even think about leaving the forum if you haven't got RA, we would miss you!).
I hope you get the results of your MRI scan soon and then you will know where you stand with that.

Lots of love, Doreen xx

Hi Chrissie

I'm so pleased you had such a good appointment yesterday and got a few things sorted out.

The PA is all part of the RA family and the treatment is the same, so I wouldn't worry too much on that score. It's so sad that you have the Scleroderma but at least you now have a nurse who is helpful, so with a bit of luck you won't suffer quite so much in the future.

As for the RF factor being negative - I wouldn't worry about that either. Many people have sero-negative RA (it's all on the NRAS web site).

Hope you get the results of the MRI scan soon.

Take care Chrissie, and hope your New Year is good for you all.

Love Jeanxxxx

Dear, dear Chrissie,

I am so glad that you had a better appointment yesterday. It helps to have someone taking an interest. It doesn't matter what the diagnosis is, what matters ir that they get their act into gear and treat you for whatever. You have had the numb leg for such a long time. I do admire you remaining cheerful and positive throughout.

Hoping for much better for you this year,

Eleanor x

Hi Chrissie

At least you now seem to be getting some correct information. Whether or not it's RA doesn't really matter, they're all part of the same thing really, aren't they? Just as long as you're getting treated for the right disease, that's what's important.

Glad you had a good appointment Chrissy and hoping that they will be able to look at all your results and give you an all round diagnosis early in the new year. Take care.

Hhi Chrissie

I'm glad that you had a good appt, and they are getting to the bottom of things. Hopefully you'll find out what the problem is very soon.

A Happy New Year to you, hope it's better for you.

Love Lyn
